BMW of Vancouver Island is proud to be Vancouver Island's exclusive BMW motorcycle dealership and the largest exclusive BMW motorcycle dealership in Western Canada. We supply new BMW motorcycles and quality pre-owned motorcycles of all makes.
We carry BMW OE service parts for models from 1948 on, and the complete line of BMW Rider's Apparel and Accessories.
We strive to be a destination dealership and carry a selection of other brands' products as well, so that you can be assured of the right product for your needs.
We are your BMW motorcycle experts on Vancouver Island and are open from 9 and 5:30 Tuesday to Friday, Saturdays 9 to 4:30.
Meet some of our team:
Brian, Sales Manager
Brian has been at the dealership for several years and is an authority on all things BMW. He has a strong grasp of the engineering principles and the technology that goes into each BMW motorcycle. Having owned several 650 Dakars in succession, in December 2005 Brian bought one of the first HP2 bikes available in Canada. He rides the dualsport bike about 350 days a year regardless of the weather or the surface he finds in front of him: highways, city streets, country roads or dirt tracks. A member of DualSport BC since its inception, Brian can frequently be found on the association's web forum as "BMW Nut."
Rick, Head Mechanic
With his 20 years at this dealership, Rick has worked on just about every make and model of motorcycle that you can imagine. Rick doesn't like to just work on them, though; he loves to ride them, too. In fact, over the years, Rick has personally owned over 30 different motorcycles. Rick's favorite day is "Test Ride Day", when he can devote his entire day to the pure pleasure of riding. (We looked for a picture of Rick, but couldn't find one without a motorcycle in the way.)
Chris, Assistant General Manager/Parts and Acessories
Chris always has a smile on his face. Chris is hooked on two wheeled riding year round and can also be found on his mountain bike.
Durell and Delia, Directors General
Durell's passion for motorcycles prompted him to buy the dealership in 2006, and he and his wife, Delia, are dedicated to making it your BMW destination on Vancouver Island. To that end, they formally changed the company name to Island Motorrad Ltd. operating as Island BMW. The couple brings a strong business and accounting background to the management and believe in long-term customer relationships. Durell is available in the showroom and the shop daily and invites you drop in for a coffee or just to say hi whenever you're in the neighbourhood.
